Arrive in Las Vegas

Day 1 – Fly into Las Vegas, Nevada, and land at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas. You'll be greeted by a classic, kitschy sign proclaiming ‘WELCOME TO LAS VEGAS' when you exit customs. Head outside of the airport and hop into one of the air-conditioned coaches that will whisk you to your accommodation. Check-in and relax for a few hours before venturing out on your first excursion to explore this desert city with its remarkable red rock formations. Las Vegas is famous for its casinos, but there are also numerous hotels, nightclubs, and bars. Find amazing options and places to spend a splendid night. From Casinos to nightclubs to amazing cuisine, Las Vegas is all you need to relax and chill out. If gambling's more your thing, make sure to check out some of the best poker games in Sin City.
The next day, take a helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam (2 hours) or head straight to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area for some hiking. If outdoor pursuits aren't really your thing, don't worry: Vegas offers plenty of other options too – including art galleries, shopping malls, and specialty restaurants.

Day 2 – See Cirque du Soleil

In the end, there are choices you need to make if you want to see Cirque du Soleil. First, decide which show you would like to see. They have 7 different shows. Next, make sure you get tickets as soon as possible before they sell out! Then select your hotel and book your room. Finally enjoy one of the best Cirque du Soleil shows in the world! Once you’ve seen the show, head back to your hotel for some sleep or some more nightlife. If you’re feeling adventurous, take a ride on one of Vegas’s famous roller coasters at the New York-New York Hotel & Casino! The coaster will give you great views of Las Vegas while throwing loops and barrel rolls over buildings. You can also visit Madame Tussauds Wax Museum to experience life-size versions of your favorite celebrities and attractions such as The Beatles' Abbey Road Crossing. Make sure you check out M&M's World Store, an entire store dedicated to delicious M&M candies!

Day 3 – Shop Till You Drop at the Fashion Show Mall

In preparation for my vacation in Las Vegas, I know the Fashion Show Mall is at the top of my list of places to visit. A mall with more than 180 stores including H&M, Tiffany & Co., and Louis Vuitton, this shopping complex is an entertainment destination in its own right. Couple it with a meal at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill and you have a perfect day out on the town. The food here is good and the views are even better. Don't forget your sunglasses because by now you're probably feeling a little parched from all that sun exposure! If you want to get away from the heat but still need some fresh air, head up north to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area where you can hike or drive through scenic rock formations. Another one of our favorite things about Las Vegas is being able to take a break from everything and enjoy nature's beauty without ever leaving the city limits.

Day 4 – Check out Chinatown in Downtown Las Vegas

Start by checking out the entertainment near Bally's, with shopping opportunities nearby on The Strip. Get a great authentic lunch at Leong's Asian Diner and then browse around Chinatown or just head back to your hotel for a well-deserved break! You can also see some live shows at the Smith Center in Downtown Las Vegas. These performances range from dance to comedy and more! If you're looking for more of an escape from the heat, check out one of many rooftop pools like The Palms Place Rooftop Pool Deck or find a private oasis pool like at The Golden Nugget Pool & Spa. Whatever you do be sure to stop by Fremont Street Experience for an unforgettable light show every night.

Day 5 – Take a Helicopter Tour of Grand Canyon National Park

After you take in all the views, return to your helicopter and fly back down. Grand Canyon helicopters provide spectacular views of Hoover Dam, the Colorado River, Lake Mead, and more as they soar over this one-of-a-kind natural wonder. On a clear day, you can see for miles. The flight takes about 20 minutes, but it's worth every second! You may also want to bring your swimsuit with you on this trip – or stop by an outdoor store along the way. After returning from the canyon tour, visit one of these local attractions:
Hoover Dam is just 20 minutes away from Las Vegas; Lake Havasu offers water sports on its 170-acre lake; or spend a few hours at Valley of Fire State Park to enjoy hikes through red sandstone formations.

Conclusion
When in Vegas, do as the Las Vegans do. If you want to get your drink on and enjoy all that Sin City has to offer then hit up one of the many world-class nightclubs that make this city home. Just remember to stay out of trouble. Do not get into any fights or pick a fight with anyone. If you are carded at a club, just be patient and tell them I'm just here for drinks. Then find the nearest bar and order yourself something strong. There is plenty of alcohol in Vegas so don't worry about getting too drunk!
